My first week! So far, I’ve been introduced to many of the lovely people I’ll be working with throughout the term, started on my Fall Term project, and solidified my goals for the internship. It feels like so much has happened, though seeing everything distilled like that makes it easier to process.
I expected to be more overwhelmed than I actually am. Honestly, I still feel like I only half know what I’m doing, but I’m very excited to delve deeper into all the different aspects of Resource Acquisition & Discovery Services work, and I’m confident that as the weeks go by, I’ll get more of a handle on things with the support of those around me. Since I am still taking everything in, this will be a less substantial reflection than I anticipate writing as my work progresses, and I’ll leave it here for now. I look forward to sharing more in the future!
